Pre-inspection
QCL;
- Attend kick off meetings
- Attend pre-inspection meetings
- Compile or review Quality Inspection and test plans (ITP's)
- Review procedures comply with international standards.
QCL ensure that;
- The supplier is fully aware of the contractual Quality requirements.
- The specified Quality system is in place.
- The required documents and drawings are available.
QCL;
- Material recieving inspection & verification
- Review material test certificates (Mill certificates)
- Verify activities inacordance with ITP's
- Monitor ongoing activities (interim visits)
- Witness tests and inspections by 3rd parties.
QCL;
- Review welding procedures (WPS)
- Review NDE procedures
- Witness welding procedure qualification tests (PQR)
- Witness welders qualifications tests (WQT)
- Welder certification Scheme
- Qualification Database
QCL;
- Review manufacturing data records
- Ensure any special requirements for packaging are adhered to
- Complete Inspection Release certification and client notification
- Welding and NDE completion check
